Bohemian Brands
Bohemian Brands is a premium craft spirit brand specialising in officially licensed products, with particular focus on football. The brand offers a range of gin, vodka, flavoured vodka, whisky and special edition champagne.

The brief
Following a website redesign, we were tasked with helping Bohemian Brands increase the amount of traffic to the website, increasing brand awareness and in turn driving sales.

Since we began our work with the team, the website has seen an increase in users on the site of 63% year on year, majority of which is non-branded traffic. We have also seen sales increase by 87% year on year supported by a large increase in conversion rate of 80% year on year.

The first step in the process was to conduct some in-depth keyword research and analysis to discover what consumers were searching for and where the opportunities lay to outrank big name brands. Bohemian Brands unique offering allowed us to tap into very specific focus areas including both sport related search terms as well as gifting. Once our keyword targets were selected, our team set about implementing the keywords on the website and reworking all product descriptions and metadata to align with our new strategy. We also worked on optimising the alt tags, image names and more to maximise impact.
To support on-page work we also began work on a blog page to increase content on the site and provide an outlet for regularly uploading fresh content. These blogs focussed on all things football and fan based as well as some information about the spirits the brand creates. Alongside the blog, we also developed a bank of FAQs to provide users with as much information as possible.
As with all of our SEO work, off-page work ran parallel to the team’s on-page activity. This included a combination of both citation building and backlink building. Our backlink building campaign was supported by our work with journalists, particularly through PR gift guides which resulted in backlinks to high domain authority websites such as The Guardian.
To further drive sales, we were tasked with developing a paid media strategy. Our paid team chose to focus on Google Adwords and Facebook for the strategy to maximise impact and make the most of demographic targeting options available within both advertising platforms. Once the campaigns had been set up, our team regularly monitored the ads to ensure they were performing to the best of their ability and also made any necessary adjustments throughout the journey.
