We began work with the Flexible Storage team in April 2020 tasked with increasing website traffic and in turn increasing bookings at their storage facility.

We have been working with Flexible Storage Solutions for a number of years and as one of the benefits of this long-term partnership has been fantastic results. In the time we have been working together, average daily users on the site have increased from 42 to 135 and we have seen an increase in average daily impressions from 2000 to 8000. There has also been a huge increase in the number of keywords ranked increasing from 378 to 2186.

PPC

We also yielded great results for Flexible Storage Solutions targeted through PPC campaigns. The PPC campaigns have achieved an average click through rate of 4.59%, an average cost per click of £0.62 and over 2.3million impressions. Our PPC campaigns have been so successful for Flexible Storage Solutions that we have had to pause activity multiple times due to limited capacity at storage sites thanks to the work of our team.

how did we do it?

SEO

After our initial research we crafted a bespoke SEO strategy featuring on-page and off-page optimisation methods. Our first focus was the content on the website as it was extremely low and not optimised for search engine performance. Once we had aligned the content to our SEO strategy it was time to focus on the technical SEO for the website and push the new site as much as possible to drive traffic and results for the Flexible team. Technical SEO activities included heading structure reviews and implementation, URL reviews and more.

As well as an on-page strategy we implemented a rounded off-page strategy to drive authority and built the trust of the website in the eyes of Google. This involved an intense citation building campaign as well as targeted backlink building focussed on specific anchor text to support on-page SEO activity.

PPC

Alongside our tailored SEO strategy, we ran a range of targeted PPC campaigns to drive enquiries for self storage and archive storage services. These focussed campaigns were regularly monitored and optimised to maximise performance and budget. At multiple points during our campaigns we were asked by the client to pause paid activity due to the success of the campaigns resulting in a large number enquiries.
