Two of our favourite phrases at greyzip are consistency and ‘content is king’. The first step for Cheeky Chocs was to create a monthly content calendar to increase the consistency of posting. We also like to ensure a good content mix within the calendar. We use a mixture of product posts and posts that followers can engage with like their favourite things to bake and favour chocolatey film moments.
We combined organic social media content with monthly social media ads targeted to Cheeky Chocs audience, we targeted by age and interests. Cheeky Chocs paid social media campaigns are usually focussed on a specific event for the month for example, Christmas or Mother’s Day as these are key events that Cheeky Choc’s audience will purchase gifts for their friends and family. Facebook advertising has led to more than 5000 website users and sessions since we began working with Cheeky Chocs.
