We were tasked with launching Cheeky Chocs social media channels and growing the brand’s online presence. We also decided to utilise gifted influencer marketing to increase brand awareness and engagement.

The Results

In just 3 months Cheeky Chocs hit 500 Instagram followers and gained over 2000 Facebook page likes. Website traffic continues to increase by an average of 20% month on month, which led to a X% increase in sales.

Utilising Facebook advertising we have been able to reach an audience of more than 140,000 with a small advertising budget, building brand awareness and page visibility.

How Did We Do It?

Two of our favourite phrases at greyzip are consistency and ‘content is king’. The first step for Cheeky Chocs was to create a monthly content calendar to increase the consistency of posting. We also like to ensure a good content mix within the calendar. We use a mixture of product posts and posts that followers can engage with like their favourite things to bake and favour chocolatey film moments. 

We combined organic social media content with monthly social media ads targeted to Cheeky Chocs audience, we targeted by age and interests. Cheeky Chocs paid social media campaigns are usually focussed on a specific event for the month for example, Christmas or Mother’s Day as these are key events that Cheeky Choc’s audience will purchase gifts for their friends and family. Facebook advertising has led to more than 5000 website users and sessions since we began working with Cheeky Chocs.
